General InfoThe Columbia Chess Club meets every Thursday evening at Ashland United Methodist Church in room 125 located at 2600 Ashland Road, Columbia, 29210 beginning at 7:00. Park on the on the right side and come in the front door. Membership dues are $10 yearly, $5 for each additional family member. USCF membership is recommended and it is required for Rated play. Members receive reduced entry fees into Cola Chess Club events and New Members receive free entry into their first club tournament. We have regular rated play with a five round weekly tournament with rounds beginning at 7:30. We also have Quick Tournaments and Casual nights occasionally. See the Tournament page for full details. You do not have to be a member of the Club to come out and play. Beginners are welcome and USCF members can play in the rated events and non members are welcome to come out and socialize or play casual games. For more information or questions send us an Email. Further, if you sort the players by one column, and then sort by another column, the players are sorted by the old column values within the new column values.
